Olatte

I got this in the subway thinking it was pineapple soda. Like Fanta right? WRONG! After purchasing I realized there is a small disclaimer on the top left that says "Milky and Fruity". Noooooooooo!!!!

I hated Milkis (sweet milky carbonated beverage) as a kid. To me, milk and soda should not mix, call me crazy (or just American).

But I liked this pineapple weirdness in a can, it was like carbonated Pina Colada. Perhaps I need to give Milkis another go.

Papa John's

This is potato, corn, olive pizza with a mozzerella stuffed and grated cheese crust. Sort of delicious, I totally ate 3 slices of this the day of a wicked hang over.

Sunsets

When I play korean gambling games, I always wondered why the sun looked like a moon. Its always ginormous. What I have found is it makes perfect sense, the suns are moonlike, huge, and outright gorgeous. Theres is nothing like watching the sunset by the Han river. Korea is beautiful.

I like KPop

I'm starting to like really corny Korean Pop music.

This video killed my friend and me when we were really drunk off chicken and soju. They're like a Korean milli vanilli joke duo. No idea.

What I miss..

Don't get me wrong. I am loving Korea a lot more than I thought I would and I have met some really cool people here. There are also a ton of things I like about Seoul over NYC:
-the immaculate subways
-the abundance of happy children and the way all adults dote over them (regardless of if it's your kid or not)
-the formalities of uber long ways of saying hello and thank you
-the smoking in bars/restaurants

There are so many others. However, after being away from the city for awhile now, there are things I am starting to miss:
-pasta salads at picnics in various city parks (especially my friend Catherine's mom's pasta salad)
-Shake Shack
-weekends on the island going to the beach
-Frying Pan Thursday nights and their garlic fries
-the occasional 230 Fifth evenings
-dinners at Cloister Cafe with Peter ignoring the fact that the food isn't that good just to enjoy the atmosphere
-outdoor brunches
-Bryant Park movie nights cuddling with friends, wine, and cheese

I guess I am having a good life experience and the aforementioned things must wait until next summer...

Thank the Good Lord for Neng Myun

Is there anything better on a hot day? I say nay.

For those not familiar, this is a ice cold noodle dish that is tangy and delicious.
