One of my favorite Korean foods (probably second to samgye tang) is Dak tori tang. It is weird that my 2 favorite Korean foods happen to be chicken. When I go out to eat in the U.S, I rarely order chicken and it is one of my least favorite meats. I think subconsciously I believe the only 2 real ways to prepare a bird is to stuff it with glutinous rice like in Samgyetang or to boil it nice and spicy with potatoes and carrots as pictured below.
No other method will do (except fried of course but that is cheating since you can fry anything and it tastes good).
