While I am happy Arcade Fire beat Eminem for Album of the Year, I feel that Funeral is far superior to The Suburbs and the Grammys is making up for years of not acknowledging them. Funeral should def have won them best new artist.
Funeral came out in 2004. So I am unsure if they would have been nominated in 2004 or 2005.
I looked up Best New Artist nominees in 2004 and 2005.
In 2004 Evanescence won and in 2005 Maroon 5 won. What a joke. And Arcade Fire didn't even get nominated.
Ugh, the Grammys suck anyways, people need to stop bugging out that Eminem didn't win. Also, how do so many people NOT know who Arcade Fire is, their album was number one on the charts when it came out. People need a clue.
