I miss Sushi

Surprisingly for a country that is so nearby, sushi restaurants are not THAT ubiquitous here. Katsu, ramen, and izakaya (think Kenka) places are everywhere. Sushi, yeah it's around, but it's just not the same.

I have had my fair share of raw fish here for sure. It's just that to get good sushi here costs an arm and a leg and Koreans prefer their raw fish to be on the chewier side. I feel like sushi should melt in your mouth. I don't like to feel the tendons in my fish when I chew, call me crazy.

Sushi is on my to eat list when I get back.

On the other hand, at least I got to try sushi from Japan this year.
